NO ONE DOES MORE FOR VETERANS
Welcome to Daniel D. Fernandez, Veterans of Foreign Wars, (VFW) Post 9676 Website.  Our Post is named after a local Los Lunas, New Mexico hometown hero and Fallen Vietnam Veteran,  Daniel D. Fernandez.   He was posthumously awarded The Congressional Medal of Honor for heroically sacrificing his life in 1966, during the Republic of Vietnam conflict.  We are a VFW Post of around 124 members who are yesterday's defenders of freedom and today's Community Servants.  We want to welcome today's military service members into our ranks and ask them to become part of our elite group.  Our common bond is the battlefield, whether it was in World War II, Vietnam, Korea, Persian Gulf, Kosovo, the Global War on Terrorism or peace-keeping expeditionary campaigns.  Your courage and sacrifice has made a difference in preserving and defending world peace.  Welcome to VFW Post 9676.  Use this Website to learn how we are giving back to our community through Volunteerism and Community Service.  NO ONE DOES MORE FOR VETEANS
